Jeffrey D. Hoffman has been appointed chief operating officer of Airline Computerized Ticketing, a Santa Ana manufacturer of electronic ticketing machines. Before joining the company, Hoffman was a founder of Competitive Technologies Inc., a travel automation company acquired in late 1991 by American Express, and served as vice president after the acquisition.
