Daniel Mahrer of Switzerland won a World Cup event at Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany, his second victory on the course. The race replaced a downhill run at Val d’Isere that had to be canceled because of bad weather Dec. 4. AJ Kitt of Rochester, N.Y., the leader in the December race before it was abandoned, did not start after crashing during a race Sunday.
