M. F. Daily Investment Co., one of Camarillo’s leading commercial developers and property managers, plans to develop a 3.1-acre, multi-tenant auto center on Adolfo Road between Lewis and Flynn roads.
The project, which could provide several dozen jobs, would include a drive-through lube facility, a full-service carwash, a gas station, and an undetermined number of units for mechanics and other vehicle service providers.
“We’ve already received several letters of intent from firms that want to lease space,” said Tim Wolfe, Daily’s chief financial officer.
In addition to the auto-related facilities, a restaurant may also be built on the site, Wolfe said, adding that if city approval is received soon, the project’s first units could be open by late spring.
Among other properties, Daily operates Las Posas Plaza, a 50-tenant shopping center in west Camarillo that includes a Hughes supermarket.
