OXNARD : Bullet Strikes Man, 60, in Ear

An Oxnard man escaped with only minor injuries after a bullet grazed his left ear when he walked outside of his home to investigate a disturbance, officials said Saturday.
Celestino Coliza, 60, was checking out some commotion outside his home in the 1000 block of Kipling Street on Friday night when he heard gunshots and felt a bullet strike his ear, Oxnard Police Sgt. Charles Hookstra said.
