Iouri Esperson of St. Petersburg, Russia, covered 147 3/4 miles and won the overall title in The Athletics Congress’ National 24-Hour Championship Run at Elverta, Calif. Randi Bromka, 40, of Whitefish, Mont., placed third overall and won the women’s national title with 138 miles covered.
