‘Bridge’ Links Many Ages

I was very happy to see that Rick Du Brow is encouraging viewer thoughts on behalf of that wonderful program, “Brooklyn Bridge.” (“Support For ‘Bridge’ Spans Country,” Dec. 8). It is important that CBS know that it is accountable to a wide range of ages, not just the under-30 crowd.
When my husband and I attended a function honoring “Brooklyn Bridge,” I was pleased to see that the overflow audience included as many people younger than ourselves (late 40s) as older.
“Brooklyn Bridge” appeals to all those interested in quality programming. It entertains while it enlightens, no small achievement. It enhances our humanness with the gentle reminder that we are all in this thing together and we all have more in common than not.
I hope CBS concludes that “Brooklyn Bridge” is far too valuable a gem to cast aside.
