WHALE OF A TIME: The best way to see Christmas lights, says Valerie Ingham of the Huntington Harbour Philharmonic Society, is by boat. Tonight begins the 30th year of the Cruise of Lights in Huntington Harbour. . . . Four cruises by whale boat will depart each night from Peter’s Landing, through Dec. 23. “One home has so many lights you can’t even tell the house is there,” she says. All the money raised goes toward county youth music programs.
