Holiday Helpers: Over at the Pasadena Playhouse, “Oil City Symphony” has been extended through Dec. 27, and half-price tickets are being offered to benefit three charities: Toys for Tots, APLA’s Necessities of Life and PAWS/LA. The requirements: take unwrapped toys Monday, canned goods next Tuesday and pet foods (especially for cats) Dec. 23. Finally, all tickets for the Dec. 24 matinee go for one price: $12.24.
