Four Washington State football players have been put on probation for recent run-ins with the law, but none is expected to sit out the Copper Bowl, Coach Mike Price said.
The four are defensive backs Singor Mobley and John Rushing, linebacker Mark Fields and defensive end DeWayne Patterson.
Mobley was released from the Whitman County Jail on Tuesday after serving five days of a 15-day sentence for delinquent traffic tickets and failure to appear in court. Last weekend, police cited Fields for driving with a suspended license and his passengers, Rushing and Patterson, with being minors in possession of alcohol.
