Fire Claims Fifth Victim

CARBONDALE, Ill. — A fifth student has died from injuries suffered when fire swept through an apartment building that housed foreign students at Southern Illinois University, police said. Mazlina Ab Wahid, 28, who had been on a life-support system since the fire Sunday, died Monday night. She had come to the United States last August from Malaysia.
