* Robert J. Wright, vice president of public relations on the West Coast for the ABC TV Network will take early retirement at the end the year.
Wright, 55, is a 28-year veteran of the department and the senior network publicity executive in Hollywood. A native of Leiscester, England, he started with the network in 1965 as a mail-room clerk and worked his way up through the ranks, being named vice president in 1986. ABC said a successor will be announced “in the near future.”
