San Pasqual 41, Lincoln 6--The Eagles rushed for 549 yards and came 23 yards short of hitting 600 for the game in total offense. Jamon Buggs led the stampede with three touchdowns on runs of four, seven and 14 yards. He finished with 172 yards on 17 carries. Buggs was supported by DeSale Wallace (13-108), Ryan Hill (8-82) and Terry Loyd (10-59). The Eagles improved to 10-1. The Hornets, held to 42 yards in the first half, finished 4-7.

Kearny 14, Valhalla 6--James Curtis scored on runs of one and 38 yards and set up his one-yard touchdown with a 64-yard jaunt. Curtis, the county rushing leader with 1,987 yards, finished with 201 yards on 22 carries. Sam Norris also completed five of 12 passes for 114 yards. Kearny (10-1) didn’t score until the final play of the third quarter. Valhalla finished 4-7.

El Capitan 49, Serra 13--Eric Rockhold ran for 173 yards and two touchdowns on 16 carries, James Hopkins rushed for yards and two touchdowns on 17 carries and quarterback Bob Vickery threw for 92 yards and two touchdowns and ran for another as El Capitan (10-1) romped. Billy Dill ran for a touchdown and 155 yards on 20 carries for Serra (3-8).

Carlsbad 17, Crawford 7--Shawn Cartwright gained 108 yards and one touchdown on 14 carries to lead visiting Carlsbad (5-6). Tafi Maugh scored Carlsbad’s first touchdown on a one-yard run and Cartwright scored the second on a 14-yard run. Altie Parker caught seven passes for 108 yards for Crawford, including the Colts’ lone touchdown, a 33-yard pass reception from Dominick Mosler. The Crawford quarterback completed 20 of 42 passes for 233 yards and a touchdown. Crawford finished the season at 7-4.

El Camino 47, USDHS 7--El Camino (10-1) only beat the Dons by 11 earlier in the seasons. El Camino will meet Kearny in Saturday’s quarterfinals.

Torrey Pines 40, Coronado 8--The top-seeded Falcons (9-2) rolled for 418 total yards, 305 on the ground. The Islanders (6-5) managed 168 and fell behind, 26-0, at halftime. Kevin Winters had touchdown runs of 10, 14 and 30 yards.
