Navy Contract: The Navy has awarded a $29.2-million contract to a division of Rockwell International Corp. to make information transfer systems for the DDG-51 class guided missile destroyer, the company said Thursday. The contract, which covers five ship sets, will be produced by Rockwell’s Autonetics Marine and Aircraft Systems division in Anaheim. The Navy also has options for as many as eight more sets worth $39.9 million. The sets will be produced in Anaheim and at a plant in El Paso for delivery by April, 1995.
