PRO FOOTBALL / DAILY REPORT : AROUND THE NFL : Kosar Returns, Tomczak Starts
Associated Press
Bernie Kosar returned to practice with the Cleveland Browns for the first time since he broke his ankle in September.
Coach Bill Belichick, who has already said he will stick with Mike Tomczak as his starter for Sunday’s game at Minnesota, isn’t sure when Kosar will be able to return to the lineup.
The Cincinnati Bengals placed tackle Anthony Munoz on injured reserve and signed offensive lineman Kirk Scrafford.
Munoz, 34, tore a knee ligament last Sunday and is out for the season.
