Jefferson 33, Huntington Park 8--Quarterback Marcus Johnson completed six passes for 104 yards, including touchdown strikes of 50 and 52 yards, to lead the Democrats to a Southeastern Conference win at home.
Running back Mark Harris scored on a 38-yard run up the middle to put Jefferson ahead for good, 13-0.
Huntington Park’s lone score came when quarterback Frank Rojas threw a 27-yard pass to Armando Bravo in the fourth quarter. Rojas threw for a total of 154 yards, and Bravo had eight catches for 129 yards.
