Have-Hope-Help-Heal: A 1,200-square-foot, hand-painted and three-dimensional billboard by Los Angeles artists Phoebe Beasley, Seth Kaufman, Joel Nakamura, Hye Sook and Frank Gutierrez was unveiled Wednesday afternoon at the corner of Sunset and Crescent Heights boulevards. The billboard, called “Absolut Hope,†features one portion by each of the artists reflecting five segments of the Los Angeles community--African-American, Caucasian, Japanese-American, Korean-American and Latino. The billboard is dedicated to the Venice Family Clinic, organizer of the annual Venice Art Walk. It will be replaced in six months with the work of five other artists.
