L.A. Baptist 21, Marshall Fundamental 20--L.A. Baptist (4-2, 2-0) scored the winning touchdown on a nine-play, 65-yard drive with 3 minutes 27 seconds to play at Pasadena City College. Darien Turpeau scored on a three-yard burst to tie the score, 20-20. Jeff Dibbini added a crucial 35-yard extra point following a 15-yard personal-foul penalty.
Marshall Fundamental (0-7, 0-2) had 321 yards in total offense and was led by Justin Watson’s 228 yards in 27 carries.
L.A. Baptist junior running back Jeff Symington rushed for 200 yards in 24 carries to lead an offense that gained 363 total yards.
