Restaurant Owner Kills Suspected Robber
The owner of a burger restaurant in northern Long Beach shot and killed a suspected robber Saturday afternoon, authorities said.
The shooting took place about 12:25 p.m. at Alpha Burger on East Artesia Boulevard in Long Beach. The suspected robber was pronounced dead at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center, said Deputy David Peltz of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The victim was not identified, and the Sheriff’s Department said no further details were available.
