COMMUNITY COLLEGE ROUNDUP : Fullerton’s Allmon Sets Career Water Polo Mark

Mark Allmon scored seven goals and became Fullerton’s all-time leading scorer in the Hornets’ 16-9 loss to Long Beach Wednesday in a South Coast Conference water polo match at Fullerton.
Allmon has 202 goals, breaking the school record set by Rhett Trice, Fullerton’s current coach who scored 201 in the 1974 and 1975 seasons. Curi Krastanov and Genaro Gascon each scored four for Long Beach (22-5, 4-0). Fullerton is 13-12-1 and 2-2.
In Orange Empire volleyball:
Golden West 3, Riverside 0--Becki Gehlke had 10 kills for host Golden West (14-0, 5-0), which won, 15-6, 15-7, 15-1.
