Barnes moved into eighth place on the county career passing-yardage list last week with 237 yards against Capistrano Valley. He has 5,078 yards, and could move as high as fourth place (Todd Gragnano had 6,160 at Los Alamitos) if he averages 217 yards in the next five games. Todd Marinovich, who played at Mater Dei and Capistrano Valley, is the leader with 9,182 yards.
