NORTHRIDGE : Victim of Fatal Crash Identified
Authorities on Thursday identified a 55-year-old man killed in a traffic accident in a Northridge intersection, the Los Angeles County coroner’s office said.
Leonard Perman of Northridge sustained fatal injuries in the crash, said Earl Clark, a coroner’s investigator. Perman was traveling north on Vanalden Avenue at 2:25 p.m. Wednesday when his car was struck by a pickup truck traveling east on Plummer Street.
The truck’s 20-year-old driver was not injured, said Los Angeles Police Officer Bill Mulvihill.
Authorities had not immediately determined responsibility for the accident.
