Belmont 27, Franklin 13--Trailing 7-6 after the first half, Belmont dominated the second half on the ground and in the air. Ben Martinez, led by Jose Calderon’s blocking, rushed for 92 yards in 17 carries and scored two touchdowns to carry Belmont to a Northern Conference win.

Belmont quarterback Yussef Evereteze completed 13 of 21 for 160 yards, and Juan Sandoval kicked four field goals.

Quarterback Tony Delgado and Armando Valadez of Franklin connected five times for 134 yards and two touchdowns, including an 82-yard scoring play that gave the Panthers a 7-6 lead in the second quarter.
