RESEDA : Youth Arrested in School Robbery
A teen-ager suspected of robbing a Reseda High School assistant principal of his Rolex watch in August was in custody Thursday after an anonymous caller tipped police to his whereabouts, Los Angeles police said.
The 17-year-old was arrested at his aunt’s house in Van Nuys, initially for violating parole from the California Youth Authority, said Police Lt. George Rock.
Rock said the youth was arrested on suspicion of felony robbery after he was identified in a police lineup by witnesses, including the victim, Assistant Principal Dimitri Vadesky.
The robbery occurred Aug. 24.
