Valencia 34, El Centro Central 0--Valencia bounced back from two consecutive losses to trounce El Centro Central at Valencia High School.
The Tiger offense overcame three lost fumbles and 10 penalties for 80 yards to dominate the visitors from the Imperial Valley with 438 yards in total offense, including 363 net yards rushing.
Valencia (2-2) allowed only two first downs and 55 yards total offense. Central (1-3) never moved the ball into Valencia territory.
Valencia running back Chris Draft had 221 yards and two touchdowns in 21 carries. Ace Riggins added two touchdowns with 105 yards in 10 carries. Riggins also returned a Spartan fumble 52 yards for a touchdown in the third quarter.
Draft scored on a seven-yard run and Riggins scored from the five for a 13-0 Valencia lead at halftime.
Draft scored from the 24 and Riggins from the one to give the Tigers a 27-0 lead.
