Goaltender Tommy Soderstrom of the Philadelphia Flyers underwent a second operation to correct a problem with his heartbeat and was listed in satisfactory condition at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia.
A hospital spokeswoman said that the 12-hour procedure appeared successful, adding that she expected Soderstrom to leave the hospital Monday.
