New Directors at ABT: Former company principal dancer Kevin McKenzie has been appointed artistic director of financially embattled American Ballet Theatre, with the company’s former general manager Gary Dunning becoming the new executive director. Before the appointments, McKenzie served as artistic associate of the Washington Ballet and Dunning was executive director of Houston Ballet. They succeed Jane Hermann, who held both the executive and artistic directorships of ABT until her recent resignation.
