Highland 31, East Bakersfield 17--Highland (2-1) rallied from a 17-10 first-half deficit to overcome East Bakersfield (2-1) at Bakersfield College.

Highland quarterback Travis Sabadin completed 10 of 21 for 183 yards and two touchdowns. Teammate Derrick Smith gained 98 yards in 21 carries.

With East Bakersfield leading, 10-3, just before halftime, the Bulldogs tied the score on a 13-yard scoring pass from Sabadin to Robert Anamizu.
