Santa Monica : Language Immersion
Spaces are available for students in the two-way Spanish immersion program at Edison Elementary School in Santa Monica.
The program teaches English-speaking and Spanish-speaking children together to foster fluency in both languages. Spanish is the main language of instruction, but emphasis on English studies increases with each year.
For the current school year, vacancies exist for Spanish-speaking children in grades kindergarten through five, and for English-speaking children in kindergarten and first grade. Applicants outside the Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District will be considered.
