UCLA, By Design: The UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television unveiled a new logo design Tuesday that depicts what the school feels are its best qualities: high energy, professionalism, the cutting edge. The designers say the challenge was to find a way to show the school’s divided emphasis on theater, film and television. The result: a “TFT” acronym with a spotlight underneath to link the three together. Theater’s “T” radiates light, film’s “F” is a film strip, and lines on television’s “T” suggest electronic technology.
