IHOP Acquires 13 JB’s Restaurants

IHOP Corp. in Glendale said it has completed the purchase of 13 JB’s restaurants in Oregon and Washington under its previously announced plan to buy 23 outlets from JB’s Restaurants Inc. for about $4.5 million.
IHOP, operator of the International House of Pancakes restaurant chain, said it plans to complete the purchase of the remaining 10 JB’s restaurants by October. All 23 outlets will converted to International House of Pancakes restaurants within six months.
The IHOP system operates 510 restaurants in 35 states, Canada and Japan.
