Baldwin Park : Reward Program Established
The City Council has established rewards ranging from $5,000 to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of violent criminals.
Police Chief Carmine Lanza will recommend to the council which major crimes merit a reward being offered. The council will determine the amount of each reward, with the funding coming from the Police Department’s asset seizure fund.
On Wednesday, the council approved offering the first reward: $10,000 in the June 9 murder of Rene Guzman.
