Call Her the Immaterial Girl

I had always been impressed by O’Connor’s endless quest for truth. But after reading Hilburn’s interview, I was struck by her overwhelming immaturity.

It’s far too easy to close your mind and condemn the whole of politics, but a concerned citizen of this world would take the time to make a difference by doing more than whining.

O’Connor’s newfound expertise in American politics displays all the markings of an ill-informed bimbo. When she says there are no differences between Bill Clinton and George Bush, she betrays child-care issues and rights for women and minorities of color and sexual orientation.

Sinead--read up and grow up.
