Poetry Prize: Stanley Lefcourt, a retired executive with Warner Bros. and Pacific Theaters, has won the 1992 poet laureate prize of the World of Poetry Organization, which is headquartered in Sacramento. Lefcourt, whose “Color Me Equal” was chosen from 2,000 entries, said he plans to donate his $10,000 prize to the homeless victims of Hurricane Andrew in Florida and Louisiana.
