Two female police officers involved in a weekend shooting of former Nebraska running back Scott Baldwin acted appropriately, Omaha Police Chief James Skinner said.
Skinner said that officers Anna Doyle and Peggy Truckenbrod followed standard police procedure in the events leading up to the shooting.
Baldwin was shot by Doyle during a struggle last Saturday night. He has a complete spinal cord injury and might be paralyzed permanently.
