Viva Los Artistas: The Music Center’s Viva Los Artistas! performing arts awards will be handed out Sunday at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion. Honors will go to director-playwright Jose Quintero, the comedy trio Culture Clash, playwright Eduardo Machado, conductor-composer Lalo Shifrin, singer Suzanna Guzmann, choreographer Rudy Perez and the late actor Jose Ferrer. Actor Jesse Borrego will be named debut artist. In conjunction with the celebration, a free family arts and crafts festival will be held at the Music Center Plaza from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and a free concert will be under way from noon to 5 p.m. on Hope Street, between First and Temple streets. The concert will feature singer Jose Luis Rodriguez, Mariachi Sol de Mexico and salsa singer Eddie Santiago.

Wrong performers-- The lineup of performers for Sunday’s Viva L.A.! free concert at the Music Center was listed incorrectly in Friday’s Calendar. Performing will be Jon Secade, Jose Jose, Lucia Mendez and Christian and Mercedes Castro.
