MISSION VIEJO — The City Council has approved an expansion of the senior services program administered by the county at the Mission Viejo Community and Senior Center.
The council now grants the county space in the community center for the program once each month. The revised agreement, adopted Monday, will allow the county to provide senior services two days per month.
Under the new plan, the program will be offered on the second and fourth Mondays of each month from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Elder care services provided by the county include health assessments, counseling referral and follow-up.
The center is at 24932 Oso Viejo Road. For information about the program, call (714) 348-2063.
