SEEING DOUBLE: Motorists along I-5 now see two radio towers where there had been only one at Santa Ana’s 17th Street . . . In a few days, KYMS radio will disconnect and tear down its original 300-foot radio transmitter, a familiar landmark that must make way for freeway widening. Caltrans paid KYMS $273,412 for the old spire, a down payment on the new one.
