Israel halted housing grants to Jewish settlers on most occupied Arab land. Finance Ministry spokesman Aryeh Greenblatt said homeowners in the territories, except for the area around Jerusalem and in the Jordan Valley, will no longer routinely have their mortgage loans turned into grants.
