Prison Term Reduced

Regarding Michael Milken’s prison term being cut to less than one-fifth of the time he could have served (Aug. 6):
If ever there was a message to smart, would-be white-collar criminals to go for it, this miscarriage of justice should come through loud and clear.
U.S. District Judge Kimba M. Wood, who made this ruling, when citing her reasons for the decision even spelled out a blueprint for future greed-motivated, but not violent, criminal minds. Do whatever is needed to make your money; if caught and convicted, be a model prisoner, and when all else fails, cooperate with authorities (rat on any co-conspirators).
Could there possibly be something wrong with our judicial system?
