ESCONDIDO : Man Dies as Truck Blows Tire, Rolls

A 30-year-old construction worker was killed Thursday when his truck blew a tire and flipped on Interstate 15 north of Escondido.
The man, who was not identified pending notification of relatives, was thrown from his Ford Ranger as it overturned on the roadside about 1 1/2 miles north of Deer Springs Road, said Brenda Cummings, an investigator for the county medical examiner’s office.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene at 10:23 a.m., Cummings said.
