Poland Is Pushing Privatization Efforts

WARSAW — Poland wants to speed up sale of its state-owned companies to foreign investors, the privatization ministry said.
Five deals with foreign investors have been announced since new Privatization Minister Janusz Lewandowski took office in July, including a sale of an 80% stake in a large paper mill to International Paper Co.
