Olympics, Week Two: Doesn’t Anyone Have Spirit of the Games?
Thumbs up to Matt Biondi. His upbeat attitude after the 100-meter freestyle exemplifies the true spirit of the Olympic Games. He showed courage and dignity by showing the world the meaning of sportsmanship.
Thumbs down to the arrogance of those simple-minded media jerks who suggest that the only thing worth winning is the gold. Sometimes the American mind-set leaves much to be desired.
