CHULA VISTA : Homeless Man Crushed by Rig

A homeless man was killed Tuesday when the parked tractor-trailer rig he was using for shelter crushed him as it was driven away.
David Edward Villanueva, 42, died at the scene about 5:20 a.m. in the parking lot of the Motel 6 in the 700 block of E Street, a spokesman for the county medical examiner’s office said.
The driver of the rig was not cited, authorities said.
