Personal Income Stagnant in June

WASHINGTON — Americans’ personal income failed to grow in June, the government said Friday, underscoring the sluggishness of the economic recovery and reflecting tough conditions in the job market.
Personal incomes were virtually unchanged, edging down a statistically insignificant $1.9 billion to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of $5.02 trillion, after having increased at least slightly in each of the previous four months, the Commerce Department said.
