Sophomore to Enter Accelerated Program

Soyok Quan of West Covina, a sophomore at Nogales High School, will attend Simon’s Rock of Bard College in Great Barrington, Mass., this fall. The college is designed for high school students who are academically and emotionally ready to do college-level work. The curriculum combines the last two years of high school with the first two years of college. Students receive $50,000 awards to cover the full cost of a four-year program to complete their Associate in Arts degree.
