Korea Society Essay-Contest Winner
Kisu Sung of Flintridge Preparatory School in La Canada Flintridge is among winners in the Korea Society’s essay contest, “My Images of Korea and Koreans.â€
Sung, who placed third and won $500, wrote that Korea “is the country where I was born, the country that gave me my name, and the country that granted me my identity. It is home.â€
The Korea Society, based in Los Angeles, works in international relations, trade, culture and public education on U.S.-Korea relations and in the Korean-American community in the United States.
