Lotus Lowers Earnings Outlook: Lotus Development Corp. said its second-quarter revenue and earnings will be below Wall Street expectations. The news sent the computer software company’s stock plunging $5.625 to $18.375. Lotus topped the most-active list on the NASDAQ market. The company blamed the news in part on slower than anticipated growth in the market for spreadsheet software.
