Sean Kelly of Ireland won the seventh stage of the Tour of Switzerland that ended at Chiasso, and Giorgio Furlan of Italy remained the overall leader for the sixth day. The victory moved Kelly into fifth place, knocking Greg LeMond to sixth after a 10th-placefinish.
