PALMDALE : Arson Suspected in Mini-Mall Fire
- Share via
Arson is suspected in a weekend blaze at a Palmdale mini-mall that took firefighters 90 minutes to extinguish, officials said.
About 25 firefighters fought the fire early Sunday morning in the 10,000-square-foot mall at East Avenue Q-6 and Sierra Highway before extinguishing it at 5:22 a.m., Los Angeles County Fire Inspector Mario De Fina said.
No injuries were reported and no damage estimate has been made, De Fina said. The fire gutted two unoccupied store areas, Capt. Al Schriver said.
Although the blaze is believed to be arson, De Fina said, the cause had not been determined.
