Saturn May Take Over Old GM Plant: Saturn Corp. is reportedly considering boosting its car output by taking over an assembly plant being deserted by its parent, General Motors Corp. Saturn President Richard Le Fauve told the Flint (Mich.) Journal in an interview that Saturn would consider expanding into an old GM plant, including the Willow Run facility in Ypsilant, Mich. A spokesman for the GM subsidiary said Saturn has several options for expanding capacity as production at its lone plant in Spring Hill, Tenn. edges toward a ceiling of 240,000 cars a year. Willow Run is scheduled to close in September, 1993.
